the FPT8500 was designed to handle the abuse of having commercial trucks with a 10,000 lb. capacity per turning plate. The turn plates provide a natural unrestricted arc that is designed to follow the rotation of the kingpin motion to provide a smooth effortless rotation. Turning plates are essential to getting proper measurements, checking steering stops, setting toe and much more.
